JD University of Chile and Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Michigan. He has more than 15 years of experience in litigation, arbitration, construction, insurance, civil liability (torts and contract) and public works concession contracts.

Before founding Puyol & Rosas Abogados, he was Head of the Judicial Defense Department of the Dirección General de Concesiones del Ministerio de Obras Públicas DGC-MOP (2019-2023). Before that, he was an associate in the litigation and arbitration area at the law firms González & Rioseco (2016-2018) and Barros, Letelier & González (2005-2016).

He develops his practice in arbitration and litigation before ordinary courts. He also provides advice on drafting and negotiating contracts.

As Head of the Judicial Defense Department of the DGC-MOP, he was involved on the defense of the Chilean Government in more than 200 arbitrations cases related to Concessions Contracts and more than 40 proceedings before the Panel Técnico de Concesiones.

In the private sector, he has represented national and foreign clients, in disputes related to property damage insurance, construction contracts, stock market operations and torts law, among others.

Since 2013 he is professor at the University of Chile Law School, teaching property, contracts and torts. He also teaches postgraduate courses at several law schools. In addition, he was a professor of Commercial Law -insurance- at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado Law School (2016-2018).

He is member of the Chilean Bar Association and the Chilean Society of Construction Law.
